Acer Introduces New Intel Core i3-Based Chromebooks

Acer has expanded its Chromebox CXI Series with the launch of new Intel Core i3-Based Chromebooks, namely, the Chromebox CXI-i34GKM and Chromebox CXI-i38GKM. The Chromebooks are designed to cater to the needs of users in education sector and businesses. As for the specifications, the new Acer Chromebooks are powered by dual-core 1.9 GHz Intel Core i3 4030U processor. Out of the two models, CXI-i34GKM packs 4 GB of RAM, while the CXI-i38GKM comes with 8 GB of RAM. Read on to find more information on specifications, features, price and availability of the devices.

Intel Core i3-Based Chromebooks

Both Chromeboxes feature a 16 GB Solid State Drive while supporting  both 2K (2048 x 1536) and 4K (3840 x 2160) display resolution. Connectivity options on the devices include include Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet and four USB 3.0 ports.

Price and Availability

The Acer Chromebook CXI-i34GKM with 4 GB RAM is priced at $349.99 and the Acer Chromebook CXI-i38GKM with 8 GB of RAM is priced at $399.99.
