Amazon India has added a new service to Amazon Pay payment and wallet service. The new Amazon Pay cash load service allows Amazon Pay users to add balance to their accounts via cash. It can be used while paying for cash on delivery orders from Amazon.in. You can ask delivery executives to add cash to Amazon Pay balance ( limit of Rs 10,000).

Availability

The Amazon Pay cash load service is already available across all pin codes where Amazon’s logistics services deliver. Users can already top up the Amazon Pay balance via their debit and credit cards. The company is also offering a cashback on the amount of loaded cash. Users will get 20 percent cash back (up to Rs 500) on a minimum cash top-up of Rs 50. Here’s how to use the new service:

How To Top Up Amazon Pay Balance With Cash

  • Place an order and choose to pay via cash.
  • While paying for a cash on the delivery order, just ask the Amazon delivery agent to initiate Amazon Pay cash top-up.
  • Choose to load the remaining change or additional funds.
  • Next, you will have to confirm the amount getting loaded from the agent’s phone.
  • Once the transfer is done, you will receive an SMS on your smartphone and an email confirmation.
  • That’s it. You are all set.
