Taiwanese electronics company AOC (Admiral Overseas Corporation) has launched its AOC M601 smartphone in India. AOC is majorly into manufacturing TFT monitors, LCD Tv’s and All-in-one Pc’s. Now AOC has entered the Indian smartphone market with its M601 smartphone. With a huge number of handset makers already existing in the Indian market, let’s see what does AOC smartphone offering brings for us.
This latest single-SIM phablet from AOC is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual-Core processor, paired with 512 MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box operating system. It houses a large 6-inch qHD IPS display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. On storage front it houses 8 GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
As far as Imaging is concerned, it sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pxiel (VGA) front facing camera. It packs a 2100 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 12 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Wireless screencasting while the dimensions of this phablet are 42.6 x 36 x 20.8 cm. It further comes with free Anti-virus for 365 days, free movies download, free music download and free reading.
This phablet will compete with the smartphones from the brands like Micromax, Intex, Lava, Xolo and so on.
