Huawei sub-brand Honor launched its Honor 10 at an event in London, on 15th May 2018. The device had already been launched in China on April 2018. The flagship device will be available exclusively on Flipkart from 16th May 2018 onwards.
Honor 10 is a top-notch smartphone with top-end HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC backed with 6GB RAM, dual-rear camera setup. It also has a full 19:9 FullView display. It further reinvigorates an iPhone X-like notch. The device is also equipped with a 24-megapixel front camera.
Honor 10 Specifications
The smartphone is dual-Nano SIM supported. It runs EMUI 8.1 on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device is built with a 5.84-inch full HD+ (1080×2280) FullView display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It also has an 86.2% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC. The device includes four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.36GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The smartphone is also backed with 6GB RAM.
In the camera department, the smartphone is equipped with a dual-rear camera setup. It consists of a 24-megapixel sensor and a 16-megapixel sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. It also has AI photography mode which recognizes scenes and objects in real-time. The rear camera module has been named as an ‘AI Camera’. It processes features like 3D Portrait Lighting and HDR. On the front, the phone has an AI Camera. It is a 24MP selfie shooter with 1.8-micron pixels and a 3D Portrait Lighting mode.
The phone has 128GB inbuilt storage. It is not expandable via microSD.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor and digital compass.
The Honor 10 also has an Ultrasonic Under Glass fingerprint sensor on the home button. The device is powered by a 3400mAh battery pack. It also has a 7.1 multi-channel Hi-Fi audio chip with 7-channel sound effects support.

The flagship smartphone is priced at Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB RAM variant with 128 GB inbuilt storage. The phone with 64GB inbuilt storage hasn’t been launched in India yet. The phone will be sold in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue variants.
