Honor 8 Launched In India: Price, Specs & First Impressions Video

Huawei’s Honor brand has launched its latest high-end smartphone, called the Honor 8, in India. Highlight of the phone is its dual camera set up on the rear. It sports 12 mega pixel dual rear cameras on the back with dual tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1.76-micron pixel size, 6P lens and Laser Auto Focus. There is also an 8 mega pixel front facing camera.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Kirin 950 processor paired with T880-MP4 GPU. It houses 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Honor 8 features a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass. On software front, the phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with EMUI 4.1 on its top. Backed up by a 3000mAh battery, the device supports fast charging. It measures 145.5×71.0×7.45 mm, weighs 153 grams and features a fingerprint sensor on the back. It comes in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold and Sapphire Blue color options.

The Honor 8 carries a price tag of 29,999 and will be available to buy from Amazon India, Flipkart and the Honor store online. The company has also announced Honor 8 Smart and Holly 3 smartphones for Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively.
