Honor Note 8 With 6.6-inch Quad HD Display, 4GB RAM Launched: Price & Specifications

Alongside Honor 5, Huawei’s Honor brand has launched the Honor Note 8 smartphone in China. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Kirin 955 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The phone features a 6.6-inch Quad HD 2.5D curved glass display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution.

On software front, the Note 8 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 over its top. For shutterbugs, it comes with a 13 mega pixel primary camera with dual tone LED flash and OIS. There is also an 8 mega pixel front facing camera for capturing selfies.

Based on storage, it comes in three versions- 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. All the variants support expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. Also onboard is a 4500mAh battery that supports fast charging. Connectivity options which the phone offers, include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. The device measures 178.8×90.9×7.18 mm and weighs 219 grams. It is a hybrid dual SIM phone that allows users to use either two SIM cards or one SIM card and one microSD card simultaneously.

The Honor Note 8 is priced at 2299 Yuan (approximately Rs. 23,000) for 32GB variant, 2499 Yuan (Rs. 25,000) for 64GB storage variant and 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs. 28,000) for 128GB variant. It will be available to buy in China from vmall and jd.com starting August 9, 2016.
