HTC U12 Leaks Hint At Fullscreen Display – Here’s All We Know

As per latest leaks and rumors, the HTC U12 will feature a fullscreen display with 4K resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

The upcoming flagship smartphone is expected to sport a single front camera and a dual camera setup on the back. Since the fingerprint sensor is not visible in the leaked render, the company might shift to an iris scanner. The company might also ditch a 3.5mm headphone jack.

HTC is expected to launch a limited number of phones in 2018. Apart from HTC U12, we might also see a lighter version of the HTC U11+ in 2018. HTC has not been in a strong financial shape for a while. Apparently, the company is now focussing on R&D and marketing.

The company had launched HTC U11+ in November last year. It sports a 6.0-inch Super LCD display with Quad HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 2.45GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. On the camera front, the HTC U11+ sports a 12-megapixel UltraPixel rear camera with autofocus, BSI sensor, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, and a dual LED flash. There’s also an 8-megapixel front camera with BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The new handset is backed by a 3930mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 support.
