Intex has launched its latest budget smartphone in the Aqua series, dubbed the Intex Aqua Q8. The phone features a 4.5-inch WVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The Aqua Q8 sports a 5 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. Camera features include Face Beauty, Panorama Mode, GIF and Smile Shot. It houses 8GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card.
Backed up by a 1650mAh battery, the company claims it to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. Connectivity options which the dual SIM phone offers, include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It comes with G-Sensor, Light and Proximity sensor. The phone also comes pre-loaded with several apps such as Matrabhasha, Dailyhunt, Newspoint, Saavn, Opera Mini and Online Software Update (FOTA).

The Intex Aqua Q8 costs Rs. 4,200 and will be available in White, Champagne and Black color options via offline stores.
Intex has also launched its Cloud Scan FP smartphone for Rs. 3,999. The highlight of the handset is that it is one of the cheapest smartphones to offer fingerprint sensor for additional security. Other specifications of the phone include 5-inch IPS (854×480 pixels resolution) display, 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 5 mega pixel front camera and a 2450mAh battery.
