Intex Aqua Y2+ Launched At Rs. 5,190: Specs & Features

Intex has expanded its Aqua series with the launch of Intex Aqua Y2+ smartphone in the Indian market. Aqua Y2+ is essentially a variant of Intex Aqua Y2 which was launched earlier this month. Both the handsets share some specifications in common. The Aqua Y2+ is powered by quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 512 MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the handset features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display with 800×480 pixel resolution. It sports a 5 mega pixel primary camera and a 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera.

On storage front, it houses 4 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The Aqua Y2+ offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE and Micro-USB as connectivity options. The handset is backed up by a 1500 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time. The handset has dimensions of 124 x 64.5 x 9.7 mm, weigh of 100 grams and is listed in Black, White and Blue colors on company’s website.

The predecessor Aqua Y2+ on the other hand houses 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card), 8 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 2 mega pixel front facing camera and a 1400 mAh battery.
