Intex has expanded its Cloud series of smartphones with the launch of Intex Cloud Tread. The main highlight of the phone is that it packs a hexa-core SoC which is not usually seen in smartphones in this price range. It comes with a 1.5GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor paired with Mali 450 GPU and 2GB of RAM. On the front, the phone features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and DragonTrail glass protection.
On imaging front, the Cloud Tread sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. It houses 16GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage up to 32GB using microSD card. The phone packs a 2200mAh battery and offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

The Intex Cloud Tread costs Rs. 4,999 and will be available to buy exclusively from online retailer Snapdeal starting August 30. It will be available through flash sale and registrations for the same are open now.
Intex also launched its Sailfish OS 2.0 based Aqua Fish smartphone last month in July 2016 for Rs. 5,499.
