Budget Android market got up to a new level. JiaYu, a chinese brand plans to launch its phones in India anytime soon.
According to the Mobile Indian, the company says it will open its Delhi office in March and launch three Android phones in entry level, dual core and quad core categories priced at Rs 3,000, Rs 8,000 and Rs 9,000 respectively.
The high-end will be called JiaYu G4 and will feature 1.2 GHz quad core CPU based on Mediatek MT6589 chipset with 2 GB RAM. It will sport a 4.7 inch IPS panel with 720p that is 1280×720 pixel resolution. The phone will also feature Gorilla Glass 2 for screen protection against scratches.
JiaYu G4 will run Android 4.1 Jelly bean mobile operating system. It will house a 13 megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor and LED flash and HD recording and a 3 megapixel front facing camera. The phone will be powered by a 3000 mAH battery which is touching the upper limits of any smartphone has ever got.
JiaYu G4 will cost about 9000 INR and we can expect it by March 2013 when the company settles in India. No details have been revealed about the other two handsets except for the price which will be Rs. 3000 and Rs. 8000 respectively.
