Domestic handset maker Lava has launched its new smartphone Lava Icon in the Indian market. The highlight of the handset is its enhanced camera and customized Star OS. As for specifications, the Icon is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with massive 2 GB of RAM and runs Android 4.4 operating system wrapped under Star OS. On storage front, the Icon equips 16 GB of inbuilt memory which comes with expandablity support of up to 32 GB via microSD card. There is a 13 mega pixel rear camera onboard which features Sony EXMOR sensor, f/2.0 aperture, a 5P lens and dual-LED flash.The handset also sports a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with Omni Vision sensor, f/2.4 aperture and 4P lens. Backed up by a 2500 mAh battery, the smartphone is claimed to deliver talk time of up to 20 hours and 9 hours on 2G and 3G networks respectively.
