Lava has announced a new budget smartphone in the Indian market. The new Lava Z60 comes with entry-level specs. The Lava Z60 is priced in India at Rs 6,499. Lava is also offering two years of warranty for the new smartphone.

The Lava Z60 sports a 5.0-inch display with a FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels), a pixel density of 196ppi and 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor and 1GB RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded using a microSD card (up to 32GB).
On the camera front, the Lava Z60 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with a LED flash. Camera features include autofocus, bokeh mode, and beautification. The 5-megapixel front camera also comes with a LED flash. The new handset is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
