Lenovo K3 Note Launched In India At Rs. 9,999: Details & Hands On Review

Lenovo has launched its latest smartphone dubbed the Lenovo K3 Note in India. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the device will go on sale starting July 8, 2015 exclusively on Flipkart. Registrations for the same are open now.

Under the hood, the handset is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6572 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Vibe UI, it features a 5.5 inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. Other specs of the handset include 16 GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card), 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, 5 mega pixel front camera and 3000 mAh battery.

Lenovo seems to be gearing up for the launch of its K3 Note smartphone in the Indian market. The company has sent out invites for an event scheduled in Delhi on June 25. The invite reads ‘Note the date’ which hints that Lenovo will be announcing the K3 Note phablet in India.

As for specifications, the phone comes with 1.5 GHz octa-core (MediaTek MT6572) processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Vibe UI, 5.5 inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution) display, 16 GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card), 13 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front camera and a 3000 mAh battery.

Lenovo has launched its 4G enabled budget handset Lenovo K3 Note in China. As far as specifications of the dual-SIM handset are concerned, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core (MediaTek MT6572) processor clocked at 1.5 GHz coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The devices flaunts a 5.5 inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Vibe UI. On storage front, K3 Note houses 16 GB inbuilt memory which is capable of further expandability of up to 32 GB using microSD card. Connectivity options on K3 Note include 4G (TD-LTE/ LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB. The phablet measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 7.99 mm in dimensions and weighs 150 grams.

With these specs and affordable price tag, Lenovo’s K3 Note will compete with the handsets offered by Xiaomi and Meizu in China.

Lenovo also introduced its A7000 smartphone at MWC 2015. Specifications of the handset include 5.5 inch HD IPS display with (1280 x 720 pixel resolution), 1.5 GHz Octa-core MediaTek (MT6572M) processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with VIBE UI, 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB inbuilt memory, 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and 2900 mAh battery. It includes 4G LTE , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB as connectivity options.
