Lenovo has finally launched its new Lenovo K8 Note smartphone in the India. The new handset offers a nice combination of dual cameras, a big battery, and stock Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box. The Lenovo K8 Note is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage variant. The 4GB/ 64GB storage variant will cost you Rs 13,999. Whereas the Honor 6X is priced at Rs 10,999 for 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant, while the 4GB/ 64GB model is available at Rs 12,999. The Honor 6X has a slight advantage in this segment.

The Lenovo K8 Note is powered by a 2.3Ghz deca-core MediaTek Helio-X23 processor, while the Honor 6X features an octa-core Kirin 655 processor. Both smartphones offer 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage options (expandable).
While the Lenovo K8 note comes with a 4000mAh battery, the Honor 6X is backed by a slightly smaller 3340mAh battery.
On the camera front, the Lenovo K8 Note has a big advantage. The dual camera setup combines a 13MP primary sensor with a 5MP secondary sensor. It should allow you to capture nice bokeh and depth of field. Also, it comes with a 13-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, a five element lens and a LED flash.
The Honor 6X also features a dual camera setup on the back. It combines a 12-megapixel primary sensor with a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. On the front, it sports an 8-megapixel camera.
Design and Display
The Lenovo K8 Note sports a metal unibody design. The sleek looking device measures 8.5mm in thickness, and weighs 180 grams. However, the Huawei Honor 6X features a more refined metal unibody design and weighs only 162 grams.
Both smartphones feature an equally good 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution (1920 x 1020 pixels).
The Lenovo K8 Note offers stock Android experience. It runs stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. On the other hand, the Honor 6X runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with the company’s EMUI 4.0 on top. Both handsets feature standard connectivity options.
Both smartphones offer great features at a competitive price. However, the stock Android gives Lenovo K8 Note a unique advantage over the Huawei handset. It is the best version of Lenovo Note series so far. We will have to wait and see how it performs in the market.
