LG G Pad III 10.1 Tablet Launched: Price, Specifications & Features

LG has launched its latest tablet, called the LG G Pad III 10.1, in South Korea. As for specifications, the tablet comes with a 1.5GHz octa-core processor (unspecified chipset). It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and features a 10.1-inch WUXGA display with 1920×1200 pixels resolution. The device houses 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. It supports expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card.

In the photography department, the G Pad III 10.1 sports a 5 mega pixel camera on the back as well as on the front. Backed up by a 6000mAh battery, it measures 256.2×167.9×6.7~7.9 mm and weighs 510 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac , Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C. It comes with a Reader Mode that reduces the blue light that relieves eye fatigue and offers a comfortable reading experience. There is also a Monitor Mode that shows the screen of the smartphone as it is on the tablet.

The tablet comes with an inbuilt Kick Stand that can adjust up to 70 degrees. It runs Time Square UX and can be used as a desk clock, tabletop calendar or digital frame.

Price & Availability

The LG G Pad III 10.1 carries a price tag of 429,000 SKW (approximately Rs. 24,500). It will first go on sale in South Korea. There is no word on global roll out of the tablet as of now.
