LG U With 5.2-inch FHD Display Launched: Price, Specifications & Features

LG has launched its latest smartphone, called the LG U, in Korea. The design and specifications of LG’s new smartphone are identical to the LG Nexus 5X. Under the hood, the smartphone comes with a 1.14GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. On the front, the phone features a 5.2-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.

The LG U sports a 13 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash. There is also an 8 mega pixel front facing camera for capturing selfies and making video calls. It houses 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. Connectivity options which the handset offers, include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It measures 147.6×73.2×7.7 mm and weighs 135 grams.

Price & Availability

The LG U carries a price tag of Korean Won 396,000 (approximately Rs. 23,100) and comes in Black, White and Pink color options. It will go on sale in Korea starting October 31, 2016.

LG has also launched its LG X Power smartphone in India for Rs. 15,990. The phone comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor paired with Mali-T720. It features a 5.3-inch HD (720p resolution) display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Other specifications of the smartphone include 13 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and a 4100mAh battery with fast charging.
