Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has launched the successor of M1 Note, the Meizu M2 Note smartphone in India. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with Flyme, it features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
On imaging front, Meizu M2 Note sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens. There is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4P lens and 69-degree wide viewing angle.
Only the 16GB variant has been launched in India. Backed up by a 3100mAh battery, the handset measures 150.9×75.2 x8.7mm in dimensions and weighs 149 grams. The M2 Note offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
The predecessor Meizu M1 Note was launched in India in May 2015 for Rs. 11,999. Specifications of the handset include 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with Flyme 4.0 UI, 5.5 inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels, 403 ppi, Corning Gorilla Glass 3) display, 32GB inbuilt storage, 2GB of RAM, 13 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and a 3140mAh battery.
