Micromax has launched its new tablet called the Micromax Canvas Tabby. Highlight of this tablet is that it comes with dual use mode for kids and parents. For kids, it comes with over 100 pre-loaded apps, 500 videos in the three areas, namely, Education, Creativity and Entertainment. In parent use mode, it can be used to perform various tasks such as watching movies, surfing internet as well as parents can keep a check on what the kids are doing.
The Canvas Tabby is loaded with numerous Parental Control features and allows parents to remotely configure and change settings on the device.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK 8312 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KItKat operating system, it features a 7-inch TFT display with 1024×600 pixels resolution. For storage purpose, it comes with 8GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Canvas Tabby sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera, VGA front facing camera and is backed up by a 3200mAh battery. It offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
