Few days back, we reported that Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 get listed on company’s official website without price and availability. But now an online retailor infibean also listed it with price and delivery in 2-3 days. The Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121 is available in only black colour with a price tag of INR 9,340. The official launch is expected soon from Micromax. The Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 is the successor of Canvas Elanza which was launched in February this year.

The Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 is the successor of the Canvas Elanza, launched in February, price INR 8,900. The new budget smartphone from Micromax notably runs on latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, highlight of this smartphone. The Canvas Elanza 2 is dual SIM smartphone with both the SIMs GSM connectivity.

Talking about the specifications, the 5-inch capacitive touch display sports 1280*720 pixel resolution display. The smartphone running on quad core Snapdragon 200 SoC, clocked at 1.2 GHz speed. There is a 1GB RAM on board as well. The Canvas Elanza 2 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

On the back of the smartphone, there is 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and there is a 2-megapixel unit too at front for video calling and self-portrait. There is 4GB internal storage in the device along with up to 32GB memory card support. The smartphone packed with 2000mAh battery.

On the connectivity front, Canvas Elanza 2 has 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS. The smartphone is a dual SIM smartphone.

The smartphone has Leather back panel for rich feel and style. And Micromax claims that Leather back panel provide more comfort and a batter grip on the phone.

The Canvas Elanza 2 comes preloaded with apps like Bounce Ball Classic, Bubble x slice, Fukrey, Kingsoft, Getit, Opera Mini, M! Live, Reverie phonebook and Smartpad.

Recently Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 was introduced by Micromax in Indian market with price INR 8,500. The smartphone has 6-inch WVGA display, dual core MediaTek processor, 512MB RAM, android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and 2500mAh battery.

Expert Opinion

The interesting fact is, the smartphone comes with quad core processor from Snapdragon not MediaTek. Basically, Micromax used to make MediaTek processor’s smartphone. Well, this move makes this smartphone more powerful and solid. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
