In terms of specifications, the Moto Z2 Force seems like a better option. Both smartphones feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. However, while the Z2 Force comes with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and ShatterShield technology, the Z2 Play has a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels).
While the Moto Z2 Force is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, the Moto Z2 Play comes with a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC. Both devices are supported by 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Additionally, the Moto Z2 Force offers a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option.
