Price Rs 6,999

The Moto C Plus is priced in India at Rs 6,999. It will go on sale from June 20 on Flipkart.com. Launch offers include discounts on Flipkart Fashion Sale (from June 24-June 26), and 30GB extra data for Reliance Jio 4G users. Users can also get Motorola Pulse Max wired headphones with the Moto C Plus at Rs 749.

At this price range, the upcoming smartphone will face competition from the feature-packed devices such as the Lenovo K6 Power, Coolpad Cool 1 Dual and Xiaomi Redmi 4. The Moto C Plus was launched at €119 (approx Rs 8,500) overseas. While the Moto C is already available in India via offline channels at Rs 5,999.

The Moto C Plus also sports a 5-inch display like Moto C. However, the new variant comes with HD (720 x 1280 pixels), while the Moto C features FWVGA resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD slot.

On the camera front, the Moto C Plus sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP front camera with f/2.8 aperture. It is backed by a huge 4,000mAh removable (the Moto C comes with 2350mAh battery) with quick charging support.

The new Moto C Plus runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Just like the Moto C, the new handset comes in four color options – Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black. It measures 144 x 72.3 x 10 mm and weighs 162 grams.
