Motorola is hosting a launch event in New Delhi on July 28, 2015 where it is expected to launch new Moto X and new Moto G phones. Leaked specifications of both the devices have already been churning out the rumor mill. The company has also shared LIVE streaming link of the event for its fans. Motorola has sent out invites for an event scheduled on July 28 in New Delhi. The company has also sent out invites for events in London, New York, and Sao Paulo on the same day but at different timings.
The invite sent by the company reads “A good friend will offer you their umbrella when it rains. A best friend will forever be ready to dance in the rain with you.” and “#MyMotoBFF”. While the company has not revealed what exactly it is going to launch at the event, we expect that it could be the new Moto X and new Moto G smartphones. Leaked specifications, pictures and images of these two upcoming devices have been churning out the rumor mill lately.
As per the rumors, the Motorola Moto G (Gen 3) will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It will run Android 5.1.1 operating system and feature a 5-inch HD display. There will be 8GB inbuilt storage (expandable via microSD card), 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED flash, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and a 2470mAh battery. The device is also tipped to arrive with 4G LTE support and IPx7 certification.
The new Moto X (Gen 3) is said to come with a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 4GB of RAM, Android 5.1.1 operating system, 5.2-inch Quad-HD AMOLED display, 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage, 16 mega pixel rear camera with Clear Pixel technology, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and a 3280 mAh battery.
Motorola has also launched a micro-site for the event on July 28. While the launch date is not so far from now, we will update you as soon as more information will be made available.
