The new Panasonic Toughbook 20 prices start around $3,099 (approx Rs 1,99,100). It is now available for purchase from authorized Panasonic resellers. As of now, there is no information about an Indian launch date or price.

The new Panasonic Toughbook 20 is powered by Intel Core i5-7Y57 vPro processor (Turbo Boost of up to 3.3GHz) along with Intel 615 HD graphics, 6GB/8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage (expandable up to 512GB). Another variant comes with Intel Core M5-6Y57 vPro processor (Turbo Boost up to 2.8GHz), Intel 515 HD graphics and 128GB SSD storage.

The highlight of the new laptop is its ‘Bridge battery’. It allows you to switch batteries without turning off a laptop. You can also add an optional second battery (inserted into the keyboard) to double battery life (up to 17 hours).

The new Toughbook 20 comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Pro operating system. The Intel’s Core m5-6Y57-powered model also comes with Windows 7 Professional option. Additional features include an integrated digitizer, touchscreen, an infrared webcam, and an 8-megapixel rear camera.

The rugged laptop comes with military-grade MIL-STD-810G certification. It also comes with IP65 certification (dust and water resistant). Connectivity options include an optional 4G LTE connectivity with eSIM technology.
