The Oppo A3s is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor along with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).

On the other hand, the Moto E5 Plus is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and 3GB RAM. The global variant is powered by the Snapdragon 435 SoC. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB).

While the Oppo handset is backed by a 4230mAh battery, the Moto smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery (with TurboPower charging).

Camera

In terms of optics, the Oppo A3s sports a dual rear camera setup which combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Whereas the 8-megapixel front camera comes with AI Beauty Technology 2.0 features for beautification.

Meanwhile, the Moto E5 Plus sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (phase detection autofocus system), laser autofocus, and LED flash. The 5-megapixel front camera also comes with a selfie light.

Features

While there is no fingerprint sensor on Oppo A3s, it comes with the Face Unlock feature. While the Oppo A3s runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS 5.1 on top, the Moto E5 Plus runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. Both handsets feature standard connectivity options.

Design and Display

The new Oppo A3s sports a 6.2-inch ‘Super Full Screen’ display with HD+ resolution (720 x 1520 pixels). It comes with a notch on the display and 88.8 percent screen-to-body ratio (thickness of the bezel is just 2.05mm). The handset measures 156.2 x 75.6 x 8.2mm.

On the other hand, the Moto E5 Plus sports a 6.0-inch Max Vision IPS LCD display with HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It measures 160.9 x 75.3 x 9.35mm and weighs 197 grams. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear panel. The Moto handset sports a 3D polymer glass build.

Conclusion

While both devices bring some powerful specs, the Oppo handset comes with additional features like AI-technology, Facial recognition, and dual rear camera setup.
