A new competitor in India’s mobile phone market, Tambo Mobiles has debuted with three smartphones and six feature phones. The smartphones have been categorized as ‘Superphones’ and are available in black, champagne and blue colours. Meanwhile, the feature phones are categorized as ‘Powerphones’. Both the categories fall under a price range of Rs. 600 to Rs. 7,000.

Chinese technology company Vivo launched their latest V9 flagship smartphone’s modified variant, Vivo V9 Youth. The customized model has been released to meet the increasing demands of their growing young and dynamic consumer base. Priced at Rs. 18,900, the device will be available in black and gold colors across all offline stores from 20th April 2018. It will also be available online on Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm Mall and Vivo E-store from 24th April 2018.

The Cupertino-based company Apple is expected to not just launch its successors to the three existing iPhone models but also some iPhone dual-SIM variants. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who is known for his accurate predictions about upcoming Apple products (based on industry sources), believes that the tech giant will launch its rumored 6.1-inch LCD model later this year with a dual-SIM option.

Amazon To Launch New Fire TV Edition Smart TVs With Best Buy

American rivals Amazon and Best Buy have tied-up to sell smart television sets built on Amazon’s very own Fire TV operating system. The partnership was announced on 18th April 2018 via an official blog post by Amazon. Amazon has revealed that they will launch more than 10 Fire TV Edition models (from Toshiba and Insignia) this year. The televisions will be available exclusively through Best Buy’s own store, Amazon’s store and its retail outlets.
