Panasonic has expanded its Eluga series with the launch of Panasonic Eluga Turbo smartphone in India. Under the hood, the phone packs a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core processor paired with massive 3GB of RAM. The handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels.

On camera front, it sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2350mAh battery, it offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

The Panasonic Eluga Turbo is priced at Rs. 10,999 and can be grabbed exclusively from online retailer Snapdeal.

Panasonic also launched its Eluga Mark smartphone in India in December 2015. The USP of this smartphone is its fingerprint sensor on the rear, which, as per the company, configures up to 8 different fingerprints simultaneously. Specifications of the phone include 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution.
