- Holographic display
- Modular concept
- USB Type-C
- 3.5 mm headphone jack
The new hi-tech device is quite large and thick compared to current flagships. The well-protected handset comes with contoured edges for better grip. It even features bulletproof Kevlar on the back. The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button (placed on the right side). There is also a dedicated button for video recording. Connectivity options on the device include USB Type-C and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The speaker grilles are located on the front.
The back of the phone features several contact points at the bottom which can be used to attach various modules. The holographic display can also offer 3D look to even 2D videos.
The RED Hydrogen One sounds like a beast of a smartphone with features like glasses-free 3D and modular concept. However, we will have to wait for a working device to get a realistic idea of its abilities. Despite next-gen features, the upcoming smartphone comes with a bulky body and huge price tag.
