Reliance Lyf Wind 5 With 5-inch Display, 4G VoLTE Launched At Rs 6,599: Specifications & Features

Reliance has expanded its Lyf series of smartphones with the launch of Reliance Lyf Wind 5. It is armed with a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor clocked at 1GHz. The device houses 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. On software front, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The Lyf Wind 5 sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Fueled by a 2000mAh battery, it is claimed to deliver up to 6.5 hours of talk time on 4G networks and up to 140 hours of standby time.

Connectivity options which the handset offers, include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The dual SIM phone measures 144.6×72.8×8.45 mm and weighs 137 grams. It also supports USB OTG and allows users to watch movies and videos directly on the phone using a pen drive, without transferring them.

The Reliance Lyf Wind 5 is priced at Rs. 6,599 and will be available to buy in the country across all Reliance channels.

Reliance also launched its Lyf Flame 6 smartphone recently. Priced at Rs. 3,999, it is one of the few phones in this price segment to offer 4G support with VoLTE. The specifications of the phone are not very impressive but are decent for its price. It comes with a 4-inch WVGA display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and 1750mAh battery.
