Samsung has launched its latest clamshell smartphone, called the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2, in China. The phone is listed on company’s official China website revealing its key specifications and features. There is however no word yet on pricing and availability of the phone.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Galaxy Folder 2 packs a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It features a 3.8-inch WVGA TFT display with 800×480 pixels resolution and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with TouchWiz UI skin atop. For storage purpose, the handset comes with 16GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage up to 128GB using microSD card.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus primary camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. There is also a 5 mega pixel front shooter for capturing selfies and making video calls. Fueled by a 1950mAh battery, the phone is claimed to deliver up to 318 hours of standby time. Connectivity options which the dual SIM phone offers, include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It measures 122×60.2×15.4 mm, weighs 160 grams and comes in Gold color option.
