Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge Launched In India

Samsung has finally announced the launch of its latest flagship smartphones- Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in India.

On design front, both devices look very similar to their predecessors- Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. There are however, a lot of improvements and upgrades which the latest flagship smartphones bring with them over the predecessors. Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge

Both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge pack more similarities than differences. Except difference in display, battery capacity and dimensions, all other specifications of both smartphones are same.

While Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch Quad HD display, the Galaxy S7 Edge features a 5.5-inch Quad HD curved display and features a new UI mode. Called Edge Single Plus, the feature offers an additional row of notifications. Both smartphones come with an always on display, which shows time, date and important notifications without waking up the device. Price & Availability

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is priced at Rs. 48,900 while the Galaxy S7 Edge carries a price tag of Rs. 56,900. Both phones will go on sale starting March 18, 2016 while pre-booking will open on March 8 till March 17. Those who will pre-book the phones will get a free Gear VR headset.

Both phones come with Red plan with double data and voice offer for Vodafone customers for six months. The company has also announced Samsung Concierge, powered by MyGalaxy. It includes four services- My Assistant, Fast Track Service, Phone Pick Up & Drop and Live Chat Service.
