Samsung Galaxy Star Trios, a triple SIM Android powered smartphone launched in Brazil

PhoneArena reported that a triple SIM android smartphone listed on Samsung’s Brazil website. Dual SIM smartphone is becoming common these days that HTC and Sony also considering the factor of dual SIM. However, now, Samsung and LG is coming even with triple SIM smartphones, yes, three SIMs in a smartphone. Dual SIM smartphones are so much in demand in emerging countries like India, China and Brazil due to a large amount of pre-paid connections and majority of more than three service providers in cities. So people often moves from one service provider to another. In addition, they keep more than two SIM card. It’s been not a while when LG launched a triple SIM smartphone last week, LG’s Optimus L1 II Tri was the first triple smartphone from LG that was launched last week. Now Samsung also joined the league and came up with Samsung Galaxy Trios, the first smartphone from Samsung, features three SIM cards, running on Android 4.1 jellybean operating system.

The phone is budget smartphone with 11mm thick and weights 105 grams. The smartphone has 3.14-inch display with 320*240pixel resolution. The phone runs on 1Ghz single core processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon. No word on availability of RAM.

There is a 2-megapixel rear camera too. The smartphone has 4GB internal storage and it can be upgrade up to 32GB via a SD card. Other features are Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS as we see on every android phone.

Samsung Galaxy Trios powered by 1300mAh battery. And yes it has 3 SIM card slots with each SIM GSM support.
