Samsung Galaxy Tab E LTE Announced: Price & Specifications

Samsung has launched its latest tablet- Samsung Galaxy Tab E LTE, in Canada. As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and features an 8-inch WXGA TFT display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. The tablet houses 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.

On camera front, the Galaxy Tab E LTE sports a 5 mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 5000mAh battery, it measures 212.1×126.1×8.9 mm and weighs 360 grams. Connectivity options which the tablet offers, include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

It comes with a Kids Mode that apart from offering a wide range of fun and educational apps for kids, also allows parents to monitor their children’s Tab E activities. It also lets parents to block unsuitable apps and set time limits for tablet usage.

Price & Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E LTE is priced at $228 (approx. Rs. 15,200) and is available to buy in Canada via Rogers, Bell and Telus stores. There is no word on global pricing and availability of the tablet as of now.

Samsung recently launched its Galaxy Tab Iris tablet in India for Rs. 13,499. The main highlight of this tablet is its iris scanner which is Aadhar, STQC and UIDAI certified.
