Leaked Images Of Samsung Z2 Tizen Smartphone Surface Online

Last month it was reported that Samsung is working on two Tizen smartphone- Samsung Z2 and another global smartphone. Now images of the former smartphone have started making rounds on the internet. The successor of Samsung Z1, the Z2 phone is said to be an entry level phone unlike the forthcoming global Tizen smartphone which will be a mid-ranger. According to the leaked images, the Tizen based Samsung Z2 will feature a physical home bottom in the centre, just like the Samsung Galaxy line-up. The volume buttons will be the same as in Samsung Z1. It will also feature front facing camera and Proximity / Light / Gesture sensors. The Z2 is expected to be launched later this year.

As revealed in the previous leaks, the Z2 will come with a 32-bit quad-core processor. It will feature a qHD display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. Other specifications of the handset include 1 GB of RAM, Tizen 3.0 UI and 2000 mAh battery.

The other global Tizen smartphone on the other hand, will come with a 4.8-inch HD Super Amoled S-Stripe RGB display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, 2 GB of RAM, 8 mega pixel rear camera and 2600 mAh battery.

The erstwhile Samsung Z1 comes with a 4 inch display with 854×480 pixel resolution, 1.2 GHz dual-core Spreadtrum SC7727S processor coupled with 768 MB of RAM. It runs Tizen 2.3 operating system and features 4 GB inbuilt memory (expandable via microSD card) and a 1500 mAh battery. The Z1 sports a 3 mega pixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. Connectivity options which the handset offers include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
