Sony has launched its Sony Xperia XZ smartphone in the Indian market. It is company’s latest flagship smartphone and features a premium loop surface design. The device also comes with IP65/IP68 certification for resistance against dust and water.
As for specifications, it packs a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU. The phone features a 5.2-inch Triluminos (1920×1080 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass) display. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and Android Nougat will be available in the coming months..
On the camera front, it sports a 23 mega pixel rear camera. There is also a 13 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2900mAh battery, it supports Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging. It comes bundled with a Sony UCH12W quick charger in the box and is rated to deliver 5.5 hours of talk time with just 10 minutes of charge. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It measures 146x72x8.1 mm and weighs 161 grams.

It will go on sale on October 10, 2016 and will be up for pre-orders at Sony Center, select retail outlets and online exclusively on Amazon.in from October 1, to October 10, 2016.
