Swipe has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Swipe Junior. Unlike other smartphones available in the Indian market, the Junior is targeted at children aged between 5-15 years.
The device comes with parental control features which allows parents to keep a check on what their kids are doing. Parents can set safe and danger zones on the phone; allow or block apps using app management system; and know the exact usage time of every app. Parents can also keep a track of people whom their child is connected to as well as delete unwanted numbers from contact list.
With Geo tracking and Geo fencing features, children can be easily tracked 24X7. GPS on the phone helps parents monitor it’s location. For safety purposes, the handset comes with one click emergency dialing and one step emergency SOS alert. On design front, the Swipe Junior flaunts its shock proof, water proof and drop proof body.
As for specifications, it is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating syste, it comes with customised UI which is is more user-friendly and offers easy navigation to the kids.
