Alcatel has finally launched its camera-centric smartphone- Alcatel Flash 2 in India. It succeeds the Alcatel Flash smartphone which was launched in India last year in 2014.
Highlight of the Flash 2 is its camera department. It sports a 13 mega pixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL Sensor, PDAF, 80-degree wide angle and 1080P video recording. There is also a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Alcatel has launched its smartwatch, called the Alcatel OneTouch Watch in India. It was unveiled at CES 2015 earlier in 2015. It enables users to check notifications such as emails, Whatsapp messages, Facebook and Twitter updates right on their wrist.
It tracks daily activities of the user like steps taken, distance walked, calories burnt, heart rate and sleep quality. Besides tracking daily activities of the user, it also acts as a remote to control music and capture images on synced smartphone. As far as specifications of the OneTouch watch are concerned, it is powered by a STM429 chipset and features 1.22-inch TFT touchscreen display with 240×240 pixels resolution.
Alcatel has entered into the Indian tablet market with the launch of Alcatel OneTouch POP 8S tablet. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features an 8-inch WXGA IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It houses 8GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card.
The OneTouch POP 8S tablet sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and a 3 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 4060mAh battery, it offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB as connectivity options.
Alcatel has introduced its new smartphone Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. The highlight of this device is its Reversible feature which adjusts the interface of the phone whether you pick up the phone in the right manner or upside down. The upside down feature of the phone is supplemented by its symmetrical design. It also features JBL audio with Clari-Fi technology and two front-facing speakers. Alcatel has launched its Alcatel OneTouch Pop 2 Series of smartphones and tablet at CES 2015 in Las vegas.
