HTC One M8 First Impressions- Will It Make A Mark?

HTC One M8 16 GB variant has been launched in India and goes on sale in first week of May 2014. The HTC One M8 has been priced at Rs. 49,900 in India.

We got a chance to spend a couple of hours with 2014 HTC One M8 before its global unveil in NYC on 25th of March. I will not say that this is a review, because for that I will need to use this phone for some days and spend some time with it to see how it really fared in day to day use. Rather I share my first impressions of the 2014 HTC One M8 new version which is the successor of HTC One (M7). I will talk about the design, features, feel, camera, build quality, accessories, display quality, performance and value for money aspect of the HTC One M8 in my first impressions post here. I will also share some pictures and videos from my first experience with the HTC One M8 in the sections below.

HTC took wraps off its latest smartphone and current flagship the HTC One M8. Check out our detailed hands on and first impression of 2014 HTC One M8 here. With the design language evolving from the previous iteration and couple of useful software and hardware additions, HTC has touched a sweet spot in the flagship battle. However, Sony and Samsung have got a lead in the battle due to early entry of their flagship devices namely Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2 respectively. What follows is the specifications review of the new HTC One and how it fares against the two heavyweights from Samsung and Sony.

HTC One M8 – A shiny new Android toy with great performance

HTC launched HTC One M8 globally and at a launch event in India too. The new HTC One M8 follow path of its predecessor HTC One M7. The HTC One was launched in 2013 and it was one of the best smartphone of last year. It was not good success as compare to Samsung Galaxy S4, but design and ultra-pixel camera like unique features made it successful. The processor is bumped up from 1.7Ghz to 2.3GHz. The RAM is same as HTC One. The battery is also slightly bumped up from 2300mAh to 2600mAh. And the most interesting feature of the smartphone, at back there is two rear cameras for better in depth shooting.

HTC Desire 310 with Media-Tek processor and dual SIM leaked in Europe

Finally, for the first time HTC comes up with a quad core processor from Media-Tek. HTC Desire 310 was listed on Europe region site of HTC before they removed it from there after only couple of time. However, as it was being listed on HTC’s site the specifications and details of smartphone already been noted by someone. The main thing with this phone with this smartphone is that HTC has come with Media-Tek processor for the first time. This phone will be release by HTC officially in near future. However, right now we have only specifications and images of this smartphone. This smartphone will be come in black and white colours. But the price of HTC Desire 310 is unknown yet.

HTC Launches Desire 501, Desire 601 And Desire 700 Mid-Range Android Handsets

HTC the taiwanse mobile giant today on December 10, 2013 launched three mid-range Android handsets in India, namely the Desire 501, Desire 601 and the Desire 700. Desire as a series of handsets has been always kept for the mid-range price point. Considering the mid-market trends, the three Desire handsets launched today packs the potential to change with such specifications and price point.

HTC One Max is available at price INR 61490 along with 5.9inch Full HD display

HTC has launched HTC One Max in Indian market at the price INR 61,490 featuring a 5.9 inch full HD LCD display along with HTC’s latest UI HTC Sense 5.5 on top of android 4.3 Jelly Beam. There are two internal memory storage option HTC is offering to users that is 16GB and 32GB. The design of the HTC One Max is same as we have seen before on HTC One. But the best thing is it comes with a fingerprint scanner that let you lock and unlock your device using your fingerprints. It makes HTC One Max second device after Apple’s latest  iPhone that has a fingerprint scanner. We have to figure out if this scanner can perform well as iPhone’s scanner do. Because we have seen that iPhone’s fingerprint scanner can even recognize the finger of a cat too.  HTC is also giving its HTC One Max users 50GB storage of Google Drive free.
