The Vivo X9s and the X9s Plus are priced at 2698 yuan (approx Rs 25,700) and 2998 yuan (approx Rs 28,300), respectively. While the Vivo X9s Plus comes on July 8, the X9s will be available from July 20. Registrations for the Vivo X9s begin from July 14. As of now, there is no information about an Indian launch date and price.

Both smartphones feature a dual front camera setup as their USP. The dual front camera setup combines a primary 20-megapixel sensor and secondary 5-megapixel camera along with a soft-LED flash. Both handsets feature a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and a LED flash.

Vivo X9s

The Vivo X9s features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution. It is powered by an octa-core (4 x 1.8GHz Cortex-A72 + 4 x 1.2GHz Cortex-A53) Snapdragon 652 processor along with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The 64GB internal storage can be further expanded via a micro SD card. It is backed by a 3320mAh battery with fast charging support.

Vivo X9s Plus

The Vivo X9s Plus sports a slightly larger 5.85-inch AMOLED display with full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution. It is powered by an octa-core (4 x 1.95 Cortex-A72 + 4 x 1.44GHz Cortex-A53) Snapdragon 653 processor along with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It is backed by a 4015mAh battery with fast charging support.

Both the smartphones come in three color options – Rose Gold, Matte Black, and Gold. The Vivo X9s measures 152.6 x 74 x 6.99mm and weighs 154 grams. While the Vivo X9s Plus measures 162.59 x 78.84 x 7.25mm. Both devices sport a sleek metallic body and run Android 7.1 Nougat OS with FunTouch OS 3.1 on top. There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home Button. Both the Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus Vivo come with Hi-Fi XE680 earphones for free.

Conclusion

The similar looking smartphones differ in terms of screen size, processor, and battery. The Vivo X9s Plus features a larger better, screen size and a faster processor.
