Vivo has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, called the Vivo Y55S 4G. While Vivo is yet to make an official announcement for the same, the phone is available to buy from online retailer OnlyMobiles for Rs. 12,980. On the design front, it looks similar to the Vivo Y55L, however, there are numerous hardware tweaks that the Y55S 4G brings with it over the elder sibling.
The Y55S 4G packs a 64-bit 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU. On the front, it features a 5.2-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under Funtouch OS 3.0.
The phone houses 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with expandable up to 256GB using microSD card. In the photography department, it offers a 13 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. There is also a 5 mega pixel front snapper for capturing selfies and making video calls. The front camera has an aperture of f/2.2 and is accompanied by screen flash for better low light selfies.
Equipped with a 2730mAh battery, the company claims it to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time. Connectivity options which the dual SIM phone offers, include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and micro USB 2.0. It measures 147.9×72.9×7.5 mm and weighs 142 grams.

The Vivo Y55S 4G is available to buy from online retailer OnlyMobiles, for Rs. 12,980. It comes bundled with a screen guard and a transparent protective case for free. Vivo is expected to officially announce the smartphone in the coming days.
