Wickedleak Wammy Desire Tab 2 Launched For Rs.9,999

Wickedleak has been slowly and steadily giving itself a strong footing in India by bringing some more than value for money products to the Indian market, and after the Wammy Desire tablet became a hit amongst the Indians, the company has launched the Wammy Desire II. The tablet has some real good internals and the price tag seems just too less for the specs on offer. It has been priced at Rs.9,999 and now let us talk about the specs of the tablet.

The tablet has a 7 inch screen which has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The heart is a Samsung Exynos 4412 1.4GHz quad core processor which gets coupled with a 1GB RAM. The processor is of Cortex A9 architecture and can be clocked at a maximum of 1.6GHz. The highlight of the tablet is its processor as it is the same unit that can be found in the Galaxy S3 smartphone so it need not prove itself. A Mali 400 GPU complements it pretty well.

It has a 2MP rear camera with the front camera unit being a VGA camera. It will run on Android 4.0 ICS or Android 4.2 as per your choice. The Android 4.2 version that the company is shipping it with is a Beta version and still has some bugs. The company says that a stable version will be released in June by it so the users can opt for a OS version as per their choice. It will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G via a dongle as it does not have a sim card.

It has an internal storage capacity of 8GB which you can expand by another 32GB with a microSD card. It will feature an HDMI port as well for added connectivity. A 3,300 mAH battery will be giving it an ability to run for around 4 hours on a single charge. The tablet serves as a way better alternative to the budget tablets from Indian brands as it packs in the internals found on the MNC devices. The device can be ordered from the company’s website.
