Xiaomi Mi Edge Leaked, Tipped To Feature Dual-Edge Display

Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new smartphone- Xiaomi Mi Edge. The highlight of this smartphone will be its dual-edged display like the Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone. The dual edge curved display of Galaxy S6 which makes it easier to view notifications and launch applications.

According to the rumors, the Mi Edge will be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB/4GB of RAM. The device is said to feature a 5.2-inch QHD display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and 565ppi pixel density.

The Xiaomi Mi Edge is expected to be launched in October 2015. It is likely to be priced at $391 (Rs. 26,000 approximately) which is considerably lower than the price of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge which is priced at Rs. 46,895. All this information should be taken with a grain of salt since Xiaomi has not confirmed any of the details officially yet.

Another Xiaomi smartphone, dubbed the Xiaomi Mi 4c was spotted over the internet at Chinese certification agency as well as AnTuTu benchmark listing revealing its specifications. It is rumored to feature a hexa-core (1.4GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core + 1.8GHz Cortex-A57 dual-core) Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Other rumored features of the device include Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 operating system, 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels resolution) display, 16GB internal memory, 13 mega pixel rear camera, 5 mega pixel front facing camera and a 3100mAh battery. It will measure 138.1×69.6×7.8 mm in dimensions and weigh 130 grams. The device will support 4G LTE connectivity and will come loaded with accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor
