Price Rs 39,999

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is priced in India at Rs 39,999. It will be available from February 22 via Mi.com, Mi Home, and Flipkart. As part of launch offers, the company is offering a free 3-month subscription (worth Rs 619) to Sony Liv and Hungama Play. Additionally, users will get the Mi IR cable (worth Rs 299). The on-site installation (worth Rs 1,099) is also free.

Xiaomi claims that the new display is the world’s thinnest LED TV. It is only 4.9mm thick. The new Xiaomi Mi TV 4 model sports a 55-inch LED display panel with a 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, HDR support, 60Hz refresh rate, and a viewing angle of 178-degrees. The company claims that the new TV has a response time of 8ms.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 processor (up to 1.8GHz) along with Mali-T830 graphics and 2GB RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage. Connectivity options include dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, three HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB (one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0) ports, an Ethernet port, and an S/PDIF port.

Additional features include Dolby+DTS Cinema Audio, 11-button Mi Remote (bundled with the TV) and AI-powered PatchWall UI (redesigned for the Indian market). While the PatchWall UI offers personalized recommendations, the 11-button Mi Remote (comes with voice control features) can be used to control a set-top box via the Mi IR cable (priced at Rs 299).

Content

In terms of content, the company claims that users can access over 500,000 hours of content on the new TV. This includes 15 Indian languages and content partners like Hotstar, Voot, Voot Kids, Sony Liv, Hungama Play, Zee5, Sun NXT, ALT Balaji, Viu, TVF, and Flickstree. Xiaomi also promises that Hungama Originals will soon be available on the new 4K TV.
