Gionee announced four new smartphones in India this week with a focus on bringing affordable LTE enabled smartphones to the consumers. LTE is still in nascent stages of development in India, therefore manufacturers are developing their portfolios to get prepared for the same. Gionee further announced that from 2015 onwards, all smartphones above Rs. 10,000 will be LTE enabled. Gionee CTRL V6L LTE features 1.2 GHz quad-core processor based on Snapdragon 400 , 5-inch 720p HD IPS display, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage with microSD card slot. The phone also packs 1950 mAh battery unit, dual-SIM support, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The device comes with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
The Gionee CTRL V6L costs Rs. 15,000
Gionee Pioneer P5L LTE features a 4.7-inch 480p display, 1GB of RAM, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1800 mAh battery, 5MP rear camera, 2 MP front cam and Android 4.4 KitKat.
Gionee Pioneer P5L comes with a price tag of Rs. 10,000.
Both of these devices will be available for purchase in second week of December 2014.
