At CES 2018, Sony has announced multiple new smartphones including Xperia L2, Xperia XA2, and Xperia XA2 Ultra. The Sony Xperia L2 is a budget smartphone with a wide-angle front camera. Sony Mobile unveiled the new Xperia L2 at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. It will be available in select markets starting late January. However, exact details about an Indian launch and price are not yet known. The company is expected t9 launch a Dual-SIM variant in the Indian market.

The new smartphone sports a 5.5-inch display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, Image Enhance Technology, and Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor and 3GB RAM.
In terms of camera, the new Sony Xperia L2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. The 8-megapixel front camera comes with a 120-degree wide angle and f/2.4 aperture. The 32GB internal storage can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
The new handset is backed by a 3300mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging, STAMINA mode, and Battery Care.

The Sony Xperia L2 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. It comes pre-loaded with apps like Movie Creator, AR Effect, and Xperia Lounge. The audio is enhanced by Clear Audio+ and Clear Bass audio output.
The dual-SIM smartphone measures 150 x 78 x 9.8mm and weighs 178 grams. Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, NFC, and FM radio. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.
The new smartphone features decent upgrades over its predecessor. Sony also launched Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra at the same event. Both new smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. While the Xperia XA2 is supported by 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, the XA2 Ultra comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Both the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra sport 23MP rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture. While the Xperia XA2 sports a single 8MP fixed-focus camera, the XA2 Ultra sports a dual camera setup (8MP + 16MP) with a dedicated selfie flash.
