Domestic handset maker Swipe has launched its latest affordable smartphone called the Swipe Elite. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The handset features a 5-inch HD display.
It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. Coming to camera department, it sports a 13 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and an 8 mega pixel front facing camera. Backed up by a 2500mAh battery, the Elite smartphone measures 142×70.8×8.05 mm in dimensions and weighs 131.3 grams.
On software front, it runs company’s own customized Freedom OS based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Freedom OS offers more customization options to the users. The device comes loaded with plethora of features such as wave hand to unlock the smartphone. Users can also change the size of icons and change the app drawer customization. Another highlight of the device is Swipe Box which offers 100GB of storage space.

The Swipe Elite is priced at Rs. 5,999 and will be available to buy exclusively from online retailer Flipkart starting August 19,2015.
