Acer One Laptop-Tablet Hybrid Launched In India: Price, Specs & Features

Acer launched its Acer One hybrid tablet in the Indian market earlier this year in February. It was exclusively available via online retailer Amazon India. Acer however has opened one more channel and the Acer One will now be available through retail stores in the country as well. The 1 GB variant of hybrid is priced at Rs. 19,999 while the 2 GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 21,999. Besides featuring rich configuration, it offers different usage modes namely Notebook mode, Pad mode, Tent mode and Display mode. Acer has launched its Acer One Laptop-Tablet Hybrid in India. This 2-in-1 device can be used as a tablet or a laptop based on users needs. It comes with rich configuration and numerous attractive features. The Acer One comes in several modes of usage, namely Notebook mode, Pad mode, Tent mode and Display mode. The Notebook mode is for using the device as a full fledged laptop with keyboard for more productivity. Pad mode is for using it as tablet and is suitable for playing games or watching a movie. Tent mode can be used in narrow spaces like while viewing recipe in the kitchen on the device and lastly the Display mode for using the laptop tablet hybrid as a large photo frame while viewing or sharing images.

The Acer One is powered by 1.33 GHz Quad-core Intel Atom Baytrail Z3735F processor coupled with 1 GB or 2 GB of RAM and runs on Windows 8.1 operating system. It features a 10 inch HD multi-touch display. On imaging front, it sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. For storage purpose, it sports dual hard drives, there is 32 GB of internal storage for tablet while there is 500 GB Hard Disk integrated in keyboard dock for laptop.

The device further packs a 6000 mAh battery while connectivity options on this device include 3G (using dongle), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 2.0 Ports, and one HDMI port. Acer One sports dual-speakers and comes with 1 TB of storage, with a free one-year subscription to OneDrive. The dimensions of this tablet hybrid are 38 x 26 x 6.2 cm and it weighs 1.2 kg.
