Price $119.99 (approx Rs 9,500)

The Amazon Kindle Kids (2nd Gen) is priced at $119.99 (approx Rs 9,500). It will be available in Ocean Explorer, Space Whale, and Unicorn Valley cover designs.

On the other hand, the Amazon Kindle (11th Gen) comes with a price tag of $99.99 (approx Rs 7,900). It will be available in Black and Denim color options. You can also get Black, Dark Emerald, and Denim, Rose fabric covers.

Both the Amazon Kindle (11th Gen) and Amazon Kindle Kids (2nd Gen) will be available in the US from October 12. As of now, there is no information about the Indian price or launch date.

The Amazon Kindle Kids (2nd Gen) sports a 6.0-inch backlit display with a resolution of 300ppi and adjustable front lights. It also comes with an inbuilt dark mode.

The new ebook reader gets 16GB of internal storage. It also comes with a subscription to the Amazon Kids+ service that offers access to child-friendly content.

The Amazon Kindle Kids (2nd Gen) comes with a USB Type-C port. The company claims that it can last up to six weeks on a single charge.

The Amazon Kindle (11th Gen) comes with mostly similar specifications as the Kindle Kids (2nd Gen). However, it does not get the annual Amazon Kids+ subscription.
