Asus Zenfone Zoom With 3X Optical Zoom Launched In India At Rs. 37,999: Specifications & Features

Asus unveiled its Zenfone Zoom smartphone at CES 2015, now the company has launched the phone in India.

The highlight of Asus Zenfone Zoom is its camera department. Targeted at photography buffs, it comes with a 13 mega pixel rear camera with f/2.7 to 4.8 aperture, laser auto focus, 10-element lenses with 3X optical zoom, optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual-color Real Tone flash. It is also equipped with PixelMaster features such as Low Light mode, Enhanced Beautification Mode, Manual Mode, Backlight (HDR) mode and Zero shutter lag. The handset also sports a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

The phone is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3590 processor clocked at 2.5GHz paired with PowerVR G6430 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Asus ZenUI, it features a 5.5-inch full HD display with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.

Fueled by a 3000mAh battery, it supports ASUS BoostMaster fast charging which charges the phone from 0 to 70% in just 39 minutes. On aesthetics front, the phone flaunts its unibody metallic finish frame with leather back cover.

Priced at Rs. 37,999, the Asus Zenfone Zoom can now be grabbed from online retailer Flipkart and will go on sale via Asus stores starting February. The phone bundled with ZenFlash and portable Tripod is priced at Rs. 39,999 and will be available later.
