iBall has expanded its tablet portfolio with the launch of iBall Slide i701 in the Indian market. The tablet is cheapest Windows 8.1 running tablet as of now. As for specifications, the tablet is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs Windows 8.1 operating system (upgradable to Windows 10) and features a 7-inch HD IPS display. There is 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The Slide i701 tablet sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. Backed up by a 3200mAh battery, it offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB as connectivity options.

Panasonic Toughpad Rugged Handheld Tablets & Semi-Rugged Toughbook Launched In India

Panasonic has announced the launch of Toughpad rugged handheld tablets- FZ-E1 and FZ-X1 alongside semi-rugged Toughbook CF-54 in the Indian market. Both Toughpads are targeted towards enterprises. The Toughpad FZ-E1 is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs Windows Embedded 8.1 OS while the Toughpad FZ-X1 packs a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro processor and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Other specifications include 8 mega pixel rear camera, 1.3 mega pixel front shooter and 3G connectivity.

Furthermore, these Toughpads can survive drops up to 10-feet and boast of dust and water resistance resistance with IP65/ IP68 ratings. Backed up by a 6200mAh battery, these Toughpads can offer up to 14 hours of battery life.

The Microsoft Surface 3 which was announced last month in April 2015 is now sale in select countries- Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States. Microsoft has also introduced a limited offer for customers in Canada, United States and Puerto Rico, where they can trade in their working Surface RT or Surface 2 to get up to $150 towards Surface 3.

The Surface 3 variant with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage is priced at $499 (roughly Rs. 32,000) while the variant with 4GB and 128GB inbuilt storage can be grabbed for $599 (roughly Rs. 38,000).

iBall seems to be on a launching spree. After launching iBall Slide 3G Q85 and Slide 3G i80 in the Indian market, iBall has launched its iBall Slide 3G Q45 voice-calling tablet in the Indian market. As far as specifications of the Slide 3G Q45 are concerned, it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 512 MB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, it features a 7-inch display with 1024×600 pixel resolution.

There is 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. On imaging front, the tablet sports a 2 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. It is backed up by a 2500 mAh battery.

As for specifications, the tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM and features a 7-inch display with 1024×600 pixels resolution. There is a 2 mega pixel rear camera accompanied with a 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera onboard. It houses 8 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card.

Backed up by 2500 mAh battery, the tablet offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-OTG as connectivity options. Additionally, the tablet also comes with support for 19 Indian languages.

iBall has launched its new tablet iBall Slide 3G i80 with voice calling support in the Indian market. This tablet is touted as iBall’s first Intel-based Android tablet. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 64-bit 1.33 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. Running Android 4.4 KitKat, it features an 8-inch HD IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It sports a 5 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.

On storage front, it comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It is backed up by a 4400 mAh battery.

LG G Pad 8.0 Tablet With 3G Support Launched At Rs. 21,000: Specs & Features

LG has silently introduced the 3G variant of its LG G Pad 8.0 tablet in the Indian market. The tablet is listed on company’s official website with no word on availability details. Notably, the Wi-Fi only variant of this tablet was launched in India for Rs. 17,999 in March 2015.

As for specifications, the LG G Pad 8.0 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 1GB of RAM and runs Android KitKat operating system. It features an 8-inch IPS WXGA display with 1280×800 pixels resolution.
